Fishman Haygood Partner Lance McCardle was presented the Outstanding Service Award at the Public Investors Advocate Bar Association’s (“PIABA”) Annual Meeting on October 28, 2021.
The award is “in recognition of outstanding service and significant contribution to the Association while advancing its mission,” according to the organization. PIABA is an international bar association whose members represent investors in disputes in the securities industry.
McCardle served as the Editor-in-Chief of the PIABA Bar Journal for 2020-2021, and had served several years on the Journal’s editorial board as well.
Lance practices in the areas of securities arbitration and litigation, and regularly represents investors (both individuals and institutions) in claims against their brokers, investment advisors, and/or investment banks in court or in arbitration proceedings administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”).
